Contractor Safety

Item

JEA is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. Safety is a core value at JEA, which means the safety of our employees, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and visitors is of paramount importance. We believe that no project, job, or task is so important that it cannot be done safely and without incident. To that extent, all contractors working at or for JEA must ensure safety and incident prevention are always kept at the forefront. It is understood that the ultimate responsibility for providing a safe workplace resides with each individual contractor. Thank you for helping JEA build community and build it safely.

Contractors are also required to comply with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), all applicable state and local safety laws, accepted industry practices, and any JEA Safety and Health requirements applicable to the work they perform.
