All bid openings are held on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. at JEA, 21 W. Church Street in the Customer Center 1st Floor, Room 002 (unless otherwise noted). Sealed bid/proposal packets must be submitted to the Bid Office by 12:00 noon prior to bid opening at 2:00 p.m.

107251 (RFQ) Storm Tent Rentals

JEA seeks a qualified vendor to install and remove tents at various JEA facilities during Hurricane Season. In the event of a storm requiring JEA to request the installation and removal of tents, the awarded Company must be ready to mobilize and install the tents within forty-eight (48) hours. The JEA sites below shall be used to determine the total cost for this RFQ. These quantities needed are estimates, not guarantees. JEA reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as needed.

Request for Qualification (RFQ) Facilities Landscape Maintenance - Sheltered - Relief Sites

It is the intent of this solicitation to secure economical pricing for basic landscape maintenance and chemical spraying of all JEA facilities.  These services must be performed in a safe manner, and the results must be aesthetically pleasing as these facilities represent JEA to the rate-paying public.  Award of individual districts to contractors will be based on highest evaluated scores per district.  The specifications also ensure that the Contractor performs these maintenance activities with skilled personnel in a safe and professional manner adhering to all JEA, City, County and State regulations and requirements.  Work will be performed at 14 JEA facilities located in the JEA service area.  These facilities can be found in Appendix B - Response Workbook. These  locations include exteriors of buildings, lots, lift stations, electric substations, wells, water treatment plants, waste water treatment plants, communication towers, road access, fences, area around electric power lines, highway, exterior of generating plants, and trails.

JEA intends to award one or more contracts for this work.  All sites will be evaluated individually.


Below, you will find the technical specifications for JEA landscaping services.  Please pay special attention to section 16, which lists minimum required equipment.  If your company meets the equipment requirements, and you are interested in submitting a bid, please let us know by 4:00 PM, Wednesday, 15 May 2024, and you will be invited to participate in Mandatory site walkthrough to be scheduled the week of May 20th.
 
The bid workbook contains the specific requirement for each site (mowing occurrences and chemical treatment occurrences). You will be required to fill the bid workbook for the sites you are interested in submitting a bid for.  Bids will be due to JEA seven (7) days after the site walkthrough. Qualified vendors are invited to submit bids via email to Halley Stewart reimhj@jea.com by 12:00 PM, Wednesday, 29 May 2024.

The purpose of this solicitation for Storm Event Busing Services (this "Solicitation") is to select one or more vendors to provide bus transportation for JEA personnel and Mutual Aid Crews to Tallahassee, FL, Lake City, FL, Ocala, FL and/or Valdosta, GA area in the event of a Category 4 or 5 storm. JEA Personnel and Mutual aid crews will report to designated staging areas in Tallahassee, FL, Lake City, FL, Ocala, FL, and/or Valdosta, GA in the event of a Category 4 or 5 event and will need to be transported to and from Hotels and Staging Areas in those locations. JEA will need service within 48 hours of notification. The estimated number of personnel from Jacksonville Equestrian Center to Out of County Staging Area and from Out of County Staging Area to Hotels is 600-1000.  Quantities are not guaranteed and may fluctuate based on the severity of the storm or emergency event. The company shall provide pricing per bus and indicate the number of personnel each bus can accommodate. JEA will level the pricing based on cost and passenger capacity.
