Jacksonville, FL - For a limited time, JEA is increasing the maximum rebate amount on attic insulation from $150 to $300. For homes with less than 5" or less than R-15 insulation, an R-38 level of blown-in insulation will be installed with a rebate of $0.30 per square foot, up to a maximum limit of $300.

This special offer is available now through August 15, 2013.

JEA’s ShopSmart program encourages JEA customers to be smart energy shoppers. Helping customers become more aware of what they can do to control their energy use saves them money each month on their utility bill.

Through JEA’s Neighborhood Energy Efficiency Program, more than 4,676 homes have received energy efficiency serves and 1,077 homes have been insulated.
