JEA Volunteers Prepare Storm Kits at Jaguars Community Day
2025-08-08
(Aug. 8, 2025) JEA employees along with volunteers from other Jacksonville organizations prepared care packages to benefit local families and military members at the Jaguars Foundation Community Day on Aug. 8. Volunteers from JEA, Florida Blue, CSX, FIS and Regency Centers were joined by Jaguar legends Aaron Beasley and Josh Scobee as they assembled care packages at Toon Town Pickleball.
JEA employees assembled 100 storm preparation kits and personally delivered them to lower Eastside customers participating in the R3 Program (Repair, Restore & Resilience), which includes JEA water and energy efficiency initiatives.
The Historic Eastside Community Development Corp. will distribute the remaining storm prep kits to additional Eastside families.
