All bid openings are held on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. via online WebEx platform (unless otherwise noted). Bids/Responses are to only be delivered electronically via link provided. Use the REQUEST A SUBMISSION LINK located under each bid to receive a unique, password-protected link.

1412205281 (RFP) Point Meadows 230-26kV T2 Addition
The purpose of this solicitation is to select a contractor to provide Construction Services for JEA’s Point Meadows T2 Addition project. The work consists of installing a new 230/26 kV power transformer (T2) and associated low-side breaker. This will include the installation of three distribution feeder breakers (Feeders 233, 234, & 235). Install new station service on the T2 bus and terminate on the Station Service Transfer Switch with existing T1 bus station service.
1. Mobilization
2. Site Surveying and establish baselines
3. Site Preparation
4. Receive and offload substation packager materials
5. Install foundations for all structures and equipment as needed
6. Install ground grid, ground rods, and equipment ground tails
7. Install conduits/cable trenches
8. Install one 230/26 kV power transformer
9. Install three distribution feeder breakers
10. Install new station service on T2
11. Backfill and compact site as necessary
12. Install substation rock
13. Transport JEA provided materials and equipment from JEA storeroom
14. Install any structures, bus, and equipment as needed
15. Install grounds to structures and equipment
16. Finish conduit installation, pull cables, and terminate at yard equipment and inside the control house relay equipment
17. Site Clean-up, sodding/seeding and disposal of debris
18. General inspection by JEA
19. Completion of all punch list items
20. Upon JEA commencing the serving of load but not more than ninety (90) days beyond punch list completion, the Contractor shall inspect all 230kV electrical connections for hot spots.
21. Demobilize

JEA intends to award up to six (6) Contracts for the Work. The Work will consist primarily of Capital and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) projects that are planned or developed throughout the course of the Contract period (the “Term”). Individual projects may vary widely in size and scope. The services that are performed by the Company will be those not already contracted for in other JEA service contracts.

1412186678 (IFB) FDEM-JEA 4673-023-R (5 Emergency Diesel Pumps)
The purpose of this solicitation is to furnish and deliver five (5) Emergency Diesel Back-Up Pump packages to existing JEA Wastewater Pump Stations as listed in the Technical Specifications. This solicitation is for the purchase, delivery and put in services (commissioning) of the equipment only.
The Emergency Diesel Back-Up Pumps packages shall include the pump, diesel engine, fuel tank, fuel delivery system, control system, field instrumentation, and associated accessories as specified in the Technical Specifications.
The JEA will perform all engineering and installation. Emergency Back-Up Pumps technician and/or representative will assist JEA to perform the startup, testing, and commissioning activities. Any references within the Technical Specifications or drawings to installation or construction services are for informational purposes only and are not included in this solicitation.
