Develop Solar and Energy Storage Resources for JEA
JEA is an electric, water, and sewer utility serving approximately 478,000 residents of Jacksonville and the surrounding communities of Northeast Florida. JEA is dedicated to providing reliable services at the best value to its customers while ensuring its areas natural resources are protected to supplying its members with reliable, cost-effective, long-term energy and energy services in a fiscally responsible and environmentally sensitive manner.
JEA is seeking solutions to develop four tracts of JEA owned land to increase its solar and solar + storage energy facilities. Proposed projects may be solar only or coupled with a storage system.

1411104246 (IFB) Construction Services and Upgrades for Pompano Drive Pump Station
The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to select a Responsible Bidder to provide construction services to:
• Construct a new Class II Pump Station (PS) at 5838 Pompano Drive.
• Replace existing 7732 Merrill Road Class II submersible PS with a new Class III submersible PS located at 7732 Merrill Road (Merrill Rd PS).
• Upgrade 2530 Mayapple Road Class II submersible PS pump, pipe, and electric service.
The work consists of:
• Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct a JEA Standard Class III submersible PS and Class II submersible PS with ability to add a third pump.
• Construction is to be in accordance with all applicable JEA Water/Wastewater Standards Manual and JEA Facility Manual.
• Construction is to be in accordance with the attached plans, specifications (note: JEA standards supersede plans and specifications).
• Associated demolition, utility relocations, bypass pumping, paving work, and associated improvements.
• The construction shall neither result in a disruption of, nor interfere with, the functional operation of any existing utilities.
• The Pompano Drive PS is Project A, with its own Technical Specifications and Drawings.
• The Merrill Road and Mayapple Road Pump Stations are Project B, with its own Technical Specifications and Drawings
