JEA Senior Day Tomorrow Offers Summer Energy Tips, Bill Help and Scam Awareness

JACKSONVILLE, FL (April 14, 2026) – JEA will host Senior Day tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15, at its headquarters, offering seniors a one-stop opportunity to prepare for summer energy costs, receive help with their utility bills, and learn how to avoid common utility scams.
JEA representatives will be on-site to share energy-saving tips for the summer months, explain available payment options, and help customers better understand their energy use. Community partners will also be available to connect seniors with additional financial and social services.
The Florida Department of Health will provide free flu vaccines on a first-come, first-served basis JEA is also reminding customers to stay alert for scams. Text messages requesting payment or personal information from unknown or unverified numbers should not be trusted. Customers should verify their account directly through jea.com or the My JEA app.
Community partners include City of Jacksonville Community Outreach, Catholic Charities, Council on Elder Affairs, and United Way’s 2-1-1.

Where: JEA Headquarters. 225 N. Pearl St. Jacksonville
Parking: Validated parking available at Duval County Courthouse Garage, 151 N. Clay St. (Bring ticket inside for validation.) Transportation is available through Ride United for eligible seniors. Call 211 to learn more.
