As an existing JEA customer, you can start service at a new address any day of the week, except Sundays and on holidays, and you can schedule your desired start date up to 30 days in advance*.
This can be convenient during a move, if you own or rent more than one property, or if you want to turn on services at an existing address.
Please note that next-day service may not be available for new homes, because of installation or inspection requirements.

*Utility service is provided to you on a credit arrangement. You are billed for water, sewer and/or electricity after you have used it. As a result, credit must be established by every applicant before service can start.
