JEA, BEAM Partner to Support Beaches Seniors at Resource Fair
2026-06-12
JACKSONVILLE, FL, June 12, 2026 –– JEA and BEAM welcomed seniors and caregivers to Senior Day at the Beaches on June 12, where local agencies shared resources, assistance programs and services to help residents live independently and save money.
The event, hosted at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, expanded on JEA’s monthly Senior Day at JEA, making it easier for Beaches-area customers to access important JEA services and resources close to home. Seniors had the opportunity to speak directly with representatives of JEA and local organizations about programs related to utility assistance, health resources and transportation.
“We understand the importance of meeting our customers where they are.” JEA Manager of Community Partnerships and Affordability Programs Raven Simmons said. “This event is one example of our commitment to partnering with trusted agencies like BEAM to connect seniors with valuable resources, support, and services to our senior population.”
The next Senior Day at JEA will be Wednesday, June 17 at JEA Headquarters from 9 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
