To be considered for an adjustment, submit the request within 90 days of the billing period in question. Adjustments are limited to no more than one in a five-year period. By requesting an adjustment, you are waiving your rights to any subsequent adjustments within any five-year period, regardless of the subsequent amount.

To ensure the request is processed in a timely manner, submit repair documentation such as plumber’s statement and/or receipts for materials and supplies to wateradjustment@jea.com.  Be sure to include your JEA account number on all of the documents submitted.  Please be aware, your request will not be processed until all of the repair documentation and completed JEA form have been received.

If you need an extension on your bill while this request is being processed, apply for an extension online or call one of our representatives at (904) 665-6250.

This form is not a guarantee that a credit will be applied to the account. You will be notified if the request cannot be granted or if additional information is needed.  Please note, all documentation related to the repair must be received within 90 days of the repair to be considered for an adjustment up to two billing periods.
