Motor Approval

Please refer to JEA Electric Rules and Regulations for motor starting guidelines. Any motor installation that does not meet the guidelines in the JEA Electric Rules and Regulations requires additional analysis by JEA. 

Please complete this application form prior to motor installation. Upon receipt of the completed form, JEA will perform the motor analysis within five (5) business days and respond to the contact provided in the application with analysis results. Any information missing from the motor application submittal will delay the analysis.
