Prim Drive Water Improvement Project

Project Objective
JEA crews replaced and upgraded the water line on Prim Drive from N. St. Johns Bluff Road to the west dead end.
This section of water main had approached the end of its useful service life and was proactively replaced to ensure the reliability of the JEA water system in the area. This work also included the installation of one (1) new fire hydrant. This project will provide increased water pressure, enhanced fire protection and improved system reliability.
Construction Areas
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
