FDOT State Road A1A/State Road 200 Reconstruction

Project Objective
FDOT is planning to widen State Road 200 in Nassau County from four lanes to six lanes from I-95 to the Intracoastal Waterway. Upon completion, this project will provide much needed capacity improvements and improve traffic conditions through the roadway corridor.
JEA Infrastructure Improvements
In an effort to resolve the conflicts between JEA’s existing utilities and the proposed roadway improvements, the utility reconstruction work was performed by the Florida Department of Transportation's Design/Build firm via the terms of our existing Inter-Local Agreement. JEA also added new water and sewer force mains within the project limits to improve the reliability of the systems.
