Circuit 825 – Neptune Beach to Mayport Electric Reliability Project

Project Objective
JEA contractor crews (SPE) replaced some of the electric transmission infrastructure that spans from the JEA electric substation in Neptune Beach to the JEA electric substation in Mayport. This work included the replacement of approximately 3.4 linear miles of static (shield) wiring. This project will provide better power quality and reliability to the area.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred along the city’s rights-of-ways and utility easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the has been completed. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
