Kingsbury Street & Attleboro Street Proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project

Project Objective

JEA will be conducting pre-design and survey work in your neighborhood over the next few months. The purpose of this work is to gather information for a potential future JEA sanitary sewer improvement project. Almond Engineering & ETM, our consultants, along with survey crews from Survey & Mapping, and Duck Duck Rooter Plumbing will be on-site at different times to assist with the project.

As part of this process, the survey crews will need to access backlot (rear easement) areas of homes to identify existing sewer services and connections. This is necessary to evaluate the potential relocation of sewer lines and individual sewer services to the right-of-way and street. The data collected will be utilized by our engineers to identify existing pipes, locate public rights of way, existing utilities, and assess soil and asphalt conditions in the area.

During the survey period, you may notice survey marks or flags that identify property boundaries, right-of-way boundaries, benchmarks, and physical site conditions such as sidewalks and tree locations. Please note that any paint used for marking is temporary and biodegradable. We kindly request your cooperation in avoiding disturbance of these markers during the survey period, which may last up to 6 months. Our contractor may need to return multiple times within this period to collect additional data.

Further information about this project will be shared with customers once the design phase is complete and construction is imminent.
