Hubbard Street Sewer Improvement Project
Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2023-11-30
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
*In some circumstances, extended hours and weekends may be required.
Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a portion of sanitary sewer line on Hubbard Street between E. 9th Street and E. 10th Street. This portion of sewer line had reached the end of its useful service life and was proactively replaced to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the sewer main has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to their pre-construction condition.
