JTA Collins Road - Rampart to Old Middleburg Roadway Improvement Project

This project is designed to reconstruct Collins Road between Old Middleburg Road and Rampart Road to four lanes with raised medians, bike lanes, closed drainage system and sidewalks.  Upon completion, this project will provide much needed capacity improvements and improve traffic conditions through the roadway corridor.

JEA Infrastructure Improvements

In an effort to resolve the conflicts between JEA’s existing utilities and the proposed roadway improvements, the utility reconstruction work will be performed by the Jacksonville Transporation Authority’s Design/Build firm via the terms of our existing Inter-Local Agreement. JEA will also be adding new water and sewer force mains within the project limits to improve the reliability of the systems.
