A popular brew may be great for your business, but the byproducts of the brewing process may not go over as well with our environment. That’s why JEA is partnering with Northeast Florida microbreweries and distilleries to help ensure a healthy environment through education and regulatory guidance.

JEA has established best management practices to reduce the likelihood of harmful pollutants entering the environment through our wastewater system and wastewater treatment plants. We’d like to share what those practices mean for your business, as well as sampling plans and other important topics in a free virtual seminar Monday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.

We know these may be trying times due to the pandemic and we appreciate your support. Let’s work together to protect the natural resources that we depend on every day.

This virtual seminar is open to all microbreweries and distilleries. For more information or questions concerning the event, please contact JEA’s Pollution Prevention Coordinator, George Haynes, at ip@jea.com.
