Macy Avenue Water Improvement Project

As part of the Small Diameter Pipe Replacement Project to modernize more than 200 miles of JEA’s existing potable water distribution system, JEA crews are working in your area to upgrade and replace portions of the existing water main on Macy Avenue between Cesery Boulevard and Cesery Terrace. This section of water main is approaching the end of its useful service life and is being proactively replaced to ensure the reliability of the JEA water system in the area.

Construction primarily takes place in the City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.

Residents and/or businesses will be provided access to their driveways and will be permitted to drive (with caution) through the work area. There may be times when driveways are temporarily blocked while crews are working in the immediate area. Crews will knock on doors to allow time to move vehicles before blocking any driveways. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the on-site crews.  

Some customers may experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers at least 48-hours prior to any planned water outages. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by this construction work.
