Memorial Park Circle Water Improvement Project

Project Objective
As part of the Small Diameter Pipe Replacement Program to modernize hundreds of miles of JEA’s existing potable water distribution system, JEA crews replaced and upgraded portions of the water lines on Contour Road and Memorial Park Circle.
These sections of water main had approached the end of their useful service lives and were proactively replaced to ensure the reliability of the JEA water system in the area. This work also included the installation of two (2) new fire hydrants. This project will provide increased water pressure, enhanced fire protection, and improved system reliability.
Construction Areas
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin typically begin 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to their pre-construction condition.
