Project Objective
Project Update - February 1, 2016
A contractor working for JEA has completed replacement of a failing sanitary sewer line on Norwood Avenue from Escambia Street to Ardmore Street. This sewer installation was completed using the pipe bursting method of construction that allows for less construction impacts to neighborhoods and a shorter overall project duration.
Paving of the area is scheduled to begin February 1, 2016 and be completed (weather permitting) by Friday February 5, 2016.
Construction Areas
Construction will occur along the City of Jacksonville’s streets and rights-of-way.
Restoration of Project Area
Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, trees, grass, curb, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
