MyWay: How to Use the History Tab

Hello everyone, I’m Brian Pippin.

In our last video, I showed you how to access your MyUsage.com account. In this next video, I’ll show you how to use your account’s history tab. The history tab will take you to one of the most informative panels in your MyUsage.com account.

The history panel updates daily with your daily usage. Here you will also find the high and low temperatures for your area... your usage before and after taxes... your daily total... any payments... and any remaining account balances.

For more in-depth information, just click on the date to the left to view the breakdown of usage for that day.

Now let’s take a look at the Alerts History tab. This tab will show you the history for your alerts. You can customize it according to your own preferences and/or time frame. Our next stop is the payment panel. To get there hover over payment on the mega menu and then click on the page you need. Payment History. Payment Centers. Or Make a Payment.

The Payment History tab will show you every payment you’ve ever made on your account since you started service. To the right of that you’ll see payment centers. That will give you all the closest places to pay your JEA bill. All in your zip code.

The last tab on the Payment Panel is the Make a Payment tab. When you click this tab it will take you directly to jea.com where you can make a payment via check, debit or credit card. You must already have a free, online jea.com account in order to make payments. And you need to have your JEA account number handy too.

It’s easy to set-up your free, online, jea.com account. Just go to jea.com/online-account. Create your user name and password and you’re done. I’m Brian Pippin.
