Breve Drive Water Improvement Project

Project Objective
As part of the Small Diameter Pipe Replacement Program to modernize more than 200 miles of JEA’s existing potable water distribution system, a contractor working for JEA (T.G. Utility Company) is working to replace and upgrade portions of the water lines on Breve Drive, Belafonte Drive, Mahalia Drive, Dakota Drive, Eartha Drive and Poitier Drive.
These pipes were approaching the end of their useful service lives and are being proactively replaced to ensure the reliability of the JEA water system in the area. This project will provide increased water pressure, enhanced fire protection and improved system reliability.
Construction Areas
Construction will primarily occur in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin soon after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
