Please note the following:

  • New service activation is available Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. Please allow at least three days for your service to be activated.
  • Same-day requests cannot be processed online for those who require a deposit. If you require same-day service and it is currently before 2:00pm, please contact our Customer Care Center at (904) 665-6000. 
  • The start date must occur within 30 days of the request. To start new service more than 30 days from the request date, please contact our Customer Care Center at (904) 665–6000.
  • Online requests for next day service must be submitted before 6:00 PM.
  • The connection fees are $10.00 per service type (electric, water/wastewater, irrigation) before 12 PM. After 12 PM, the fee is $25.00 per service type (from 12 PM to 2 PM).
  • Utility services are subject to JEA’s internal credit scoring process for a deposit requirement. Any deposit requirement will be billed to the account and appear on the next bill.
