Project Objective
Important Project Update
JEA has terminated the work contract for the Ponte Vedra Water Improvement Project with DB Civil Contracting due to poor work performance. JEA has not taken this decision lightly, as we do not want to delay the project any further.
JEA forces and our trusted contractors will immediately take over the remainder of the final items related to construction completion. Further information on our updated schedule will be provided in the coming weeks.

JEA is currently working to complete a project to replace and upgrade a water main that serves the Ponte Vedra community. These pipes had reached the end of their service lives and needed to be proactively replaced. This project will increase water pressure, provide improved system reliability and increase fire protection to the area.
The recent work to tie in the newly installed water main to the existing water system, connect individual water meters and services (at the property line) to the new water main, and proper abandonment of the old line has been completed.
Paving Notification - Ponte Vedra Boulevard
A contractor working for JEA (Atlantic Coast Asphalt) will be in your area to complete final paving. To prevent any disruptions to paving operations, we are requesting that all residents temporarily suspend irrigation activities (near the road) to minimize water on the roadway.
For the safety of crews and the general public, we will be required to temporarily close portions of Ponte Vedra Boulevard, from Corona Road to Pablo Road, and Solano Road while paving is completed.

*Dates and times are weather permitting and highly subject to change. Paving will not take place over the weekend.
We ask that drivers observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site. JEA encourages drivers to take alternate routes or plan ahead for traffic delays in this area. We appreciate your patience during this important infrastructure improvement project.
This work will not affect your normal JEA water or sewer service.
