Princess Anne Lane and Prince Edward Road Water Improvement Project

Project Objective
As part of the Small Diameter Pipe Replacement Program to modernize more than 200 miles of JEA’s existing potable water distribution system, JEA crews are continuing work on a project to replace and upgrade portions of the water lines on Princess Anne Lane, Avon Drive, Carlisle Road from Avon Drive to Waverly Lane, King Richard Road from Avon Drive to Waverly Lane, Prince Edward Road from Carlisle Road to Charlemagne Road, Malpas Lane, Maid Marian Lane, and Yacht Club Road from Prince Edward Road to King Richard Road. This project also includes the installation of two (2) new fire hydrants.
This project will provide increased water pressure, improved system reliability and enhanced fire protection to the area.
Construction Conditions
This work will occur along the City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and utility easements. Residents and/or businesses will be provided access to their driveways and will be permitted to drive (with caution) around the work area. There may be times when driveways are temporarily blocked while crews are working directly in front of homes or businesses. Crews will notify residents by knocking on the door prior to blocking any driveway for an extended period.
Planned Water Outages
Some customers may experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers at least 48-hours prior to any planned water outages. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by this construction work

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
