White Jasmine Way Sewer Improvement Project

Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2024-02-29
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
*In some circumstances, extended hours and weekends may be required.
Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA (Vortex Companies) rehabilitated multiple sanitary sewer manholes on portions of White Jasmine Way, Southlake Drive, Lake Geneva Drive, Southern Grove Drive, Stonehurst Parkway and Ivyhedge Avenue in St. Johns County.
These manholes were proactively rehabilitated to ensure continued reliability of the sewer system that serves the area. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the project has been completed. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
