US-1 Electric Reliability Project Town Hall Meeting

You are invited to our second informational public meeting to discuss our plans for important infrastructure improvement project to install new electric transmission poles and lines along Philips Highway (US-1) and Race Track Road.

This project will connect JEA’s existing Bartram Electric Substation (4513 Race Track Road) to the Greenland Energy Center (6850 Energy Center Drive) and the future Nocatee Electric Substation.

When completed, this new, overhead electric circuit will create a critical redundancy in our system which will provide for overall increased electric reliability for our customers living and working in the area. This project will also allow for the continued growth of the Jacksonville community in the southeast region of JEA’s electric service territory.

JEA staff will be available to discuss the project and answer any questions or concerns.
