JEA's Salute to a Healthcare Champion Follow-Up Clinic

Area residents ages 12 and up, along with JEA team members, contractors and their family members will be eligible to receive a first or second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID vaccine at this community event. No appointment needed.

JEA will host a follow-up community vaccination event at its downtown headquarters to allow those who received their initial vaccine at our Aug. 5 event to return for their second dose. First-timers are welcome as well, ages 12 and up. No appointment is needed.

JEA has partnered with Agape Family Health to offer the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to community members as well as all JEA team members, contractors and their family members. The event will feature two of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority's Wellness on Wheels buses that Agape Family Health uses as mobile vaccination sites.

Vaccinations: Agape Family Health will administer Pfizer and Moderna vaccines at this vaccination event. If this is your first vaccine, we are including a vaccine screening and consent form for your convenience. You may choose to complete the form prior to your arrival. If not, consent forms will be available at the registration desk.

Parking: All participants should attempt to park in the reserved metered parking spots on Ashley Street. Security officers will be on-site to assist with traffic and direction.

Social Distancing/Mask Wearing: Masks will be required while waiting and during the vaccination. Please maintain appropriate social distancing.

What to Expect: Once you arrive, check in with the registration table, get your shot and then be prepared to wait 15 minutes to make sure you do not have a reaction – and then you are on your way.

About the Moderna Vaccine: The Moderna vaccine is a two-shot vaccination that requires a second vaccination in four weeks. The Wellness on Wheels bus will not return to JEA for the second dose.
