JEA and other Florida utilities have teamed up with the Arbor Day Foundation and Florida Forest Service to giveaway 10,000 trees statewide.
The giveaway opens January 15 when JEA customers can log on to the website, www.arborday.org/floridatrees, choose their trees and map their home to find the best energy-saving location in which to plant the trees for optimum savings. The trees will be mailed to you and you must call 8-1-1 before you plant! The above website will not be available until January 15, 2016.
