Given the unique needs of the contact centers, JEA has opted to pursue a supplemental staffing agreement separate from the overall JEA supplemental staffing agreement. JEA invests more than $12,000.00 per person to prepare an individual to work in the customer contact center, and is seeking to increase the return on that investment by reducing supplemental staff attrition

The purpose of this Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) is to solicit competitive Responses from manhole and wet-well rehabilitation services companies with core competency in cementious and fiberglass structure repair capabilities that can provide all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, delivery and disposal of construction waste materials for manhole and wet-well rehabilitation services as described in this ITN. This ITN will be awarded using JEA’s ITN process.  JEA intends to Award up to two (2) companies, a five (5) year contract, with an optional one (1) year renewal on a fixed price basis, with annual Consumer Price Index adjustments.

This Solicitation is to obtain construction services for the installation of a new water main and sewer force main along San Juan Drive, Pablo Road and Pablo Drive in Ponte Vedra. The existing pedestrian bridge crossing Lake Vedra is in poor condition requiring the removal of the JEA water main and force main. The force main will be rerouted along San Juan Drive and Pablo Drive. The water main crossing is being eliminated by upsizing and replacing the AC water main along the same project limits



 

Bid Responses for 079-16 Facilities Landscape Maintenance- Open Market


JEA owns approximately 710 buildings primarily in Duval County, with some additional sites in Clay, Nassau, and St Johns Counties.  It is the intent of this solicitation to secure economical pricing for basic landscape maintenance.  Work will be performed at approximately 670 JEA facilities located in Duval, Nassau, St. Johns and Clay Counties in Florida as listed in Appendix B - Bid Workbook.   These  locations include exteriors of buildings, lots, lift stations, electric substations, wells, water treatment plants, waste water treatment plants, communication towers, road access, fences, area around electric power lines, highway, exterior of generating plants, and trails.  These services must be performed in a safe manner, and the results must be aesthetically pleasing as these facilities represent JEA to the rate-paying public

The scope includes the design and services during construction of a twenty (20) inch Lower Floridan Aquifer raw water production well with a 2,500 GPM capacity, vertical turbine pump, variable frequency drive, wellhead assembly, associated piping and fittings necessary to connect to the existing raw water main, and any necessary instrumentation and control and electrical equipment.



 

099-16 Water Purification Treatment (WPT) Evaluation and Pilot Testing


The objective of this project is to compare treatment efficiencies of two secondary effluent wastewater water purification technology (WPT) options and the associated costs. The Company (also referred to as “Consultant”) shall develop two separate cost competitive treatment trains based on the effluent quality of the Buckman and Southwest wastewater treatment plants and purified water quality goals for JEA’s approval. This pilot testing project will be the first phase of a three-phased approach as detailed in Appendix A Technical Specifications. The remaining two phases are described for reference purposes, however, are not included within the Scope of Work for this solicitation.

This solicitation is for construction services for the installation of approximately 15,561 LF of 24-inch wastewater force main including 116 LF of 24-inch 316L SST aerial crossing, 161 LF of 16-inch wastewater force main, 715 LF of 4-inch HDPE force main, and 1,553 lf of 8-inch water main along with associated fittings and appurtenances to replace the aging existing force main along Lane Avenue and Wilson Boulevard as well as aging existing water main on Bakersfield Drive.  The limits are of the project are from Alachua Master Pump Station at 7039 Alachua Avenue to Wilson Blvd. at Aldington Drive.

The scope of work includes the demolition and rebuilding of the majority of the existing 4kV portion of the JEA McDuff 13kV/4kV Substation. The existing station is within a shared facility, and with respect to this project, houses a combination indoor/outdoor substation with four (4) 13/4kV transformers (T1, T2, T3, & T4). The T1, T2, & T3 outdoor transformers and 4kV yard are fed from 13kV indoor switchgear, and also feed to indoor 4kV switchgear, located within the site’s switchgear building. The 4kV switchgear feeds the primary station service as well as six (6) 4kV distribution feeders that exit the switchgear building through a combination of overhead and underground cabling.  More details are provided in Appendix A – Technical Specifications
