Apprenticeship Program

JEA offers state certified and in-house training programs for those interested in becoming trade professionals with a solid career path and earning potential. 

When you join our team you will receive a combination of one-on-one job training with a journeyperson and related classroom instruction. Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate of completion, qualifying you as a highly skilled professional in your trade.

When you find a position you are interested in, and meet the job requirements, apply before the job close date. Once the online posting closes for applications, JEA will review your application and determine your eligibility for the position. If eligible, you will be asked to begin the recruitment process. Upon successful completion of the first computer-based assessment with our testing vendor, you may be asked to attend physical agility testing at a JEA facility.
