  • Associate Engineer
    Individual acquires knowledge and skills in a specific functional area by performing routine engineering assignments using standard analysis, procedures and techniques. This is a continuous recruitment.  
  • Community Engagement Coordinator
    This position will be actively involved in supporting the drivers of customer satisfaction—especially Corporate Citizenship and Communications-- that are key to gaining and keeping satisfied customers. Please apply by 7/6/2017.
  • Consulting Engineer - System Analysis
    The ideal System Analysis (SA) Consulting Engineer should have a comprehensive knowledge base and complete theoretical knowledge and understanding of Power System Analyses in subject areas of Distributed Energy Resources (DER), ArcFlash, Electric System Operations, and Electric System reliability, interrelationships of DER with reliability.   • Director Customer and Community Engagement
    Provides leadership to a seasoned team of thirteen to sixteen communications professionals who are responsible for delivering industry leading customer communications and community engagement initiatives to JEA’s nearly 1 million electric, water and sewer customers. Please apply by 7/6/2017.
  • Electrical Technician
    Under general supervision, installs, maintains and repairs electrical apparatus and electrical/electronic components of power plant machinery and equipment. Please apply by 6/25/2017.
  • Generation O&M Specialist
    This position is responsible for minimizing the operating and maintenance cost, maximizing the reliability while minimizing environmental exceedances and unsafe conditions of the Generation Assets at all JEA generating stations. Please apply by 7/2/2017.
  • Instrument and Control Technician
    Under limited supervision, modifies, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs major control and monitoring systems and power plant instrumentation for generating units. Please apply by 7/2/2017.

Summer Co-Op Program

Our interns, co-ops and mentoring students work directly with JEA employees trained to guide them through the work environment, while also teaching them about the utility industry. Students often get the chance to help complete special projects while working side-by-side with our employees.
