  • Associate Engineer
    Individual acquires knowledge and skills in a specific functional area by performing routine engineering assignments using standard analysis, procedures and techniques. This is a continuous recruitment.  
  • Chilled Water Technician II
    Under limited supervision, position is responsible for the operations and maintenance duties associated with JEA’s District Energy Chilled Water Production Facility and its associated Chilled Water Distribution and Energy Station/British Thermal Unit (BTU) Metering Systems (DES).   • Manager Meter Engineering

  • Manager Water Meter Services

  • Operations Analyst Senior
    Under administrative direction, analyzes and/or leads others in analyzing operational policies, procedures, methods, directives, organizational structures and performance management systems. Please apply by 10/22/2017.
  • Power Plant Operator
    Under limited supervision, operates, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electric generating plant equipment and systems to provide economical and reliable electric services, consistent with environmental regulations, to JEA customers. Please apply by 10/29/2017.

    Under limited supervision, provides overall or functional project management for a variety of construction projects, as defined by the appropriate Area Manager or Director, for major utility systems, including generation; transmission; substation; distribution; chilled water; facilities; and water and waste water business segments. Summer Co-Op Program

Our interns, co-ops and mentoring students work directly with JEA employees trained to guide them through the work environment, while also teaching them about the utility industry. Students often get the chance to help complete special projects while working side-by-side with our employees.
