  • Associate Engineer
    Individual acquires knowledge and skills in a specific functional area by performing routine engineering assignments using standard analysis, procedures and techniques. This is a continuous recruitment.
  • Co-Op
    We are looking for twenty (25) students to join JEA for our paid 2018 Summer Co-Op Program. Students selected to participate in our Co-Op Program will have an opportunity to gain real world, on-the-job experience, and network with business professionals to develop valuable leadership, professional etiquette and presentation skills. Please apply by 3/5/2018. 
  • Customer Care Consultant Trainee-Bilingual
    Customer service work handling various customer inquiries in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The work requires knowledge of established procedures and practices using customer service skills. Contacts with customers require basic courtesy, tact, and effectiveness in dealing with customer questions and complaints and involve interaction with others to request and/or provide information, ask questions, and obtain clarification. Please apply by 4/29/2018
  • Customer Experience Quality Assurance Analyst
    Position is responsible for supporting customer-facing staff through facilitation of coaching and development initiatives and monitoring customer experience through an evaluation process of customer interactions. Please apply by 2/25/2018.
  • Financial Analysis Specialist - Customer Revenue
    Leads the reconciliation of manual and complex invoicing and financial analysis for the Billing, Collections, Receivables and Revenue Assurance components of Customer Revenue Services. Please apply by 2/26/2018.  
  • Manager Utility Locates Services 
    Manages personnel and/or possible contract services engaged in the identification and location of JEA underground electric, water, wastewater, fiber optic and chilled water facilities and ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws with respect to damage prevention and locating underground facilities.   • Purchasing Agent
    This is an intermediate position responsible for the procurement of goods or services for all of JEA and SJRPP. This position is responsible for purchasing materials and/or services at a competitive cost in a timely manner to support cost-effective and efficient JEA operations. Ensures that all purchases are made in a legal, ethical and professional manner and that supplier performance standards are established and maintained. Please apply by 3/4/2018.

Summer Co-Op Program

Our interns, co-ops and mentoring students work directly with JEA employees trained to guide them through the work environment, while also teaching them about the utility industry. Students often get the chance to help complete special projects while working side-by-side with our employees.
