Our JEA Ambassadors and Volunteers support organizations throughout Northeast Florida, engaging directly with customers through community meetings, workshops, and local events. Employees support projects and programs that help customers have more efficient and resilient homes and businesses. Our Project Outreach team keeps everyone informed while we work to improve your service and protect the natural resources we all share.

JEA and Tree Hill Nature Center work together to provide unique and engaging performances that help students in grades K-6 learn what energy is and where it comes from. Participants discover ways to conserve energy at home and at school.

Neighbor to Neighbor Fund

This fund gives customers and employees a way to provide temporary assistance to customers unable to pay their utility bill during a financial crisis. It helps elderly, disabled, and those less fortunate keep the lights on and water running.

Neighborhood Energy Efficiency Program

This program assists customers in designated neighborhoods make energy and water efficiency upgrades. Our crews help install products which will help lower bills and give tips on how to manage utility usage.

Local Agency Recognition

JEA has formed partnerships with many local and regional groups, like Junior Achievement, Tree Hill, MOSH and United Way of Northeast Florida’s RealSense to help educate the community about environmental issues.
