JEA is committed to demonstrating environmental leadership in order to better serve its customers and protect the community and environment in which it operates. In order to support this commitment JEA has developed an Environmental Management System (EMS) for its Ridenour Water Treatment Plant.
What does an EMS mean to the Jacksonville community and JEA?
An EMS ensures the development and implementation of standards and an audit process to correct any deficiencies or identify new aspects. JEA personnel are trained and assigned specific roles in order to ensure EMS compliance.
