News from and about JEA can be brought to your group or organization in a speaker presentation designed specifically for your audience. For youth, senior citizens and all ages in-between, JEA has a program message that will fit your meeting requirements.
Hundreds of audiences participating in recent presentations have learned how JEA customers enjoy some of the lowest rates in the southeastern United States, how JEA is working to be the best service provider in the nation and how JEA is using state-of-the-art technology and modern business practices to improve the quality of life in the community it serves. Civic, church and school groups, business and community organizations all will benefit from learning more about the utility that provides electric, water and sewer service to its nearly 600,000 customers in northeast Florida.
JEA is proud to share its story with audiences large and small. General topics, which have proven to be some of the most popular, include:
- "Savings Without Sacrifice" - how to reduce your electric bill while increasing comfort inside your home;
- "Waterwise Workshop" - learning the common ways we waste water can help reduce water bills now while helping to ensure we'll have plenty of fresh water in years to come; and
- "Hazard Hamlet" - an active presentation designed especially for younger audiences promotes safety when working or playing near electricity.
Requests for more specialized topics from groups with specific interests can usually be accommodated when sufficient lead time is provided.
Skilled representatives from JEA's Speakers Bureau are available to speak at your upcoming event. JEA requires at least one month's notice in order to schedule and prepare for your presentation. Requests for more specialized presentations will require more time. Because of increased demand for presentations from JEA's Speakers Bureau, you are advised to make your request for a presentation as early as possible.
