The Prosperity Scholarship Fund

The Jacksonville City Council passed a resolution in January 2006, requesting that JEA collect voluntary contributions from customers through its billing system to enhance area education. This scholarship endowment fund is accessible to students and applicable to Edward Waters College, Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Jacksonville University and the University of North Florida.

The Prosperity Scholarship Fund supports the community’s Blueprint for Prosperity initiative to provide higher education and training for workforce and economic development. The scholarship fund is endowed through voluntary contributions from JEA customers, collected through the JEA billing system, corporate and other non-profit and citizen contributions.

How it Works
JEA collects your generous donations in support of area workforce and economic development. One hundred percent of the donations are passed through to FCCJ Foundation for the Prosperity Scholarship Fund. Call the FCCJ Foundation at (904) 632-3239 for more information, or sign up online.
