JEA complies with all safety, health and environmental regulations. Just as important, JEA goes beyond the regulations to enhance the safety of our operations in a variety of innovative ways. Our multifaceted, fully integrated approach to safety has led to several safeguards in our systems. The Florida Water Environment Association and the Florida Department of Labor & Employment Security (Division of Safety) are among the agencies that have recognized JEA for accomplishments in the field of safety. JEA has installed safety devices, established practices and procedures and trained its employees to enhance safe conditions at our facilities.
