JEA and the Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee have formed a Community Partnership to help support our community's efforts to make Super Bowl XXXIX a success. As part of the partnership, JEA will provide the water and sewer infrastructure to support the cruise ships that will come for the Super Bowl. JEA will also provide water and sewer services to the cruise ships. The Emerging Business Program objective is to help prepare small, minority and women- owned businesses to participate in procurement opportunities surrounding Super Bowl XXXIX and related events. Since October 2003, workshops and seminars were held to assist local business owners learn about the certification process, joint-venturing prospects and business endeavors with the NFL. Visit www.jacksonvillesuperbowl.com for the business resource directory of local certified businesses. This directory will be made available to local suppliers, the Host Committee, NFL contractors and affiliates and corporate sponsors of Super Bowl XXIX.

As a regulated utility, JEA is required to provide educational opportunities to our community on energy and water conservation and safety. More details about this exciting project will be available in spring 2004.
