Co-op Program Hiring Steps

Step 1:
When co-op positions open, JEA typically posts them under Current Job Openings on http://www.jea.com/careers/. Apply online for available co-op openings.

Step 2:
Participate in the pre-screening assessment/interview

Step 3:
Background screening (criminal, employment, driver’s license)

Step 4:
Co-op selections are made

Step 5:
Conditional offer is extended to student

Step 6:
Pre-employment physical and substance abuse screening

Step 7:
Co-op(s) hired
