Once a point of connection is known, an engineer can then design a proposed project accordingly. Upon completion, the design engineer shall submit four (4) sets of design plans, a copy of the availability letter or reference to the availability number, an engineer's transmittal, the Intent to Dedicate form and two (2) original signed and sealed JEA permit applications to JEA Water and Sewer Order Fulfillment, 4th floor, JEA Tower, 21 W. Church Street. The plans will be reviewed for conformance with the most recent JEA Design Guidelines Manual, F.A.C 62-555 and 62-604. If necessary, one set of the plans will then be returned to the engineer for corrections and the engineer will resubmit the corrected plans for final approval. Once approved, JEA will retain three sets and return all additional approved sets back to the engineer. A copy of the JEA Guidelines manual can be obtained in the JEA Bid Office on the ist floor of the JEA Tower. Compact discs containing the JEA water and sewer detail plates are also available upon request.
