Water Plants
Two major grids make up JEA's water systems: the North Grid, which is comprised of nine water treatment plants, and the South Grid, which is comprised of 13 water treatment plants. Some areas of Jacksonville are served by smaller, hydraulically independent plants. In all, JEA operates 33 water treatment plants and delivers water through a system of more than 2,800 miles of water lines. JEA delivers more than 80 million gallons of water each day.
