PONTE VEDRA MSD SEPTIC TANK PHASE-OUT PROJECT TO BEGIN
JEA PLANS TOWN MEETING WITH RESIDENTS
JACKSONVILLE, FL - JEA, in conjunction with St. Johns County will be conducting a town meeting at Rawlings Elementary School Cafetorium, at 610 Highway A1A North, on Monday, October 27, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. JEA representatives will present plans for a Septic Tank Phase-Out Project in a Ponte Vedra Beach neighborhood to provide members of the community in the project area important information about the project.
The anticipated start date for this project is November 2003 with an estimated completion date of February 2005. The project will be divided into multiple phases, which will limit disruptions to the community and better control the flow of work. Upon the completion of each phase, the new sewer system will be tested and readied for the residents to connect. The contractor, Callaway Contracting, Inc., plans to start construction on the drainage portion of the project in November 2003.
